His extensive executive experience spans roles as CEO of two private companies, COO of a public company, VP of Operations for an international sports franchise, and a senior report to the chairman of a Fortune 50 company. As a proven Chief People Officer at ATB Financial, he led the cultural transformation that earned the organization the #1 Best Workplace in Canada designation. His board governance expertise is demonstrated through his membership in the Institute of Corporate Directors and his directorship at FortisAlberta Inc.

At Harvard University’s Division of Continuing Education, Lorne has taught "Building Organizational Cultures: A Framework for Leaders" since 2019, earning a 4.85/5 rating from over 600 global executives and establishing it as a trusted program for leaders across all sectors. For six years at the University of Alberta School of Business, he has also shaped new EMBA cohorts with his foundational Culture Program. His entrepreneurial impact is realized as co-founder of CulturGenix, providing strategic culture consulting to global clients, and Belongify, an innovative system that operationalizes culture to drive performance and belonging.
